Visit Jimmy Carter's boyhood farm where rangers share stories of the president's humble beginnings. The historic downtown and peanut festival offer small-town charm with surprisingly good Southern cooking at local cafes.
the hotel was excellent. it's a older property so you must expect that. rooms where large. beds extremely comfortable. clean.

A one night stay while dropping our son off to college.
An older hotel that had a partial refurbishment at some point. Parts of the hotel were shabby - walls, door frames, furniture.
Reception staff were friendly.
