It's a safe area with little traffic on foot or otherwise. We're only \~5 blocks from East Ohio St., with lots of bars & restaurants, \~7 blocks from Penn Brewery, and \~10 minutes walk to the Strip District, just across the bridge! We recommend Uber or Lyft for navigating Pittsburgh (or walking of course!) - with our geography, it's one of the most challenging cities in the US to drive in! Parking in our area is free, and easy, with spots usually available directly out front of our house or always in the free parking lot across the street. Guest is responsible for all child proofing. Any child amenities (pack & plays, high chairs, etc.) shall be completely and fully inspected for satisfactory working order by Guest prior to use. Hosts do not inspect child amenities between stays, and any injuries resulting from their use are 100% guest-related. 5\. There is no daily housekeeping service. While the house has been thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival and linens and bath towels are included, daily maid service is not included in the rate. 6\. Tampering with / disabling the decibel meter and refusing to reinstall it is grounds for immediate cancellation. 7\. While our home is pet friendly, excessive shedding, mud, damage, etc. may require an additional charge. The pet fee is $89 per stay. 8\. We are very flexible hosts, and do not ask or expect our guests to clean prior to check out. The owner was VERY responsive, ensured we had everything we needed, and the place was beautiful and CLEAN! The space was plentiful - bedrooms huge and beautifully decorated. Appliances were superb. You could tell it has been recently renovated and they did an amazing job!The only thing was the local area was not ideal in my mind. We did walk to PNC park and it was 15-20 mins away. The house was fully stocked. The bed linens were clean and laid out beautifully just like a hotel. I was a little nervous to rent the place knowing that it’s pet friendly because I am allergic to animals. However, I had zero allergy issues which is a testament to the cleanliness. We were able to park right in front of the door on the street and the Uber rides to downtown were under 10 mins. A walk to almost any major North Side attraction (& the Strip), and an easy Uber-ride elsewhere.the place is AS advertised. and was strikingly clean when we arrived. the property manager Chad could not have been more helpful, in terms of speed of response and kind attitude.we stayed longer than typical stays at 820 Suismon, and became quickly familiar with the neighborhood and the general vibe of the streets surrounding it. a short walk across Tripoli Street bridge and you are near several good restaurants: Legends, a charming Italian BYOB; Fig and Ash, and our favorite, Siempre Algo. if you have a dog with you, as we did, there is a very nice park three blocks across Tripoli; we walked him there daily. we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, but we might try to branch next time and try other properties managed by HomeStays.
