"I was having a terrible day, lost money at the casino, air travel problems, and starving from lack of food. It was so nice to have a hotel stay that was as accommodating as Sam's Town. Had a great meal at B. Williams and my waitress, Ms. H'ebert, was spectacular and cheering me up. People were friendly and helpful all along the way. I had a beautiful view of the river and the room was 5*. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to insert my room key in the elevator before selecting my floor. Although I realize this is for my safety, I got stuck in the elevator twice because it wouldn't accept my room key. I couldn't find an emergency alarm in the elevator panel. I recommend Sam's Town Hotel, but not so much the casino because I lost a lot of money. That's the way it is."
"The resort was nice and clean. Friendly front desk employees but the restaurant employees could use some customer service training. I honestly booked this resort basic on the description of the location. It was walking distance to the boardwalk so I was thinking perfect its by more restaurants and shopping. The so call "boardwalk " is a ghost town. Maybe 4 stores and a lot of empty buildings. My husband and I was very disappointed. So DO NOT GO TO BOSSIER CITY unless you just want to gamble because its absolutely nothing else to do."
"My wife and I had a great time at the Steamboat. Location to local destinations was excellent. We enjoyed a brief rain storm from the front porch swing that was simply magical. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was 5 star! We will absolutely return."
"The house was so cute and a great location. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was also very well stocked. The beds were very comfortable ( I would put kids in the roll aways ) There wasn't enough room for both roll aways in the room but we only needed one. We fished in the slough and sat around the fire pit. Just make sure to wear a lot of bug spray. There is not a boat dock at the property like we thought but a minute away. The host was AMAZING and so easy to connect and communicate with. Overall, loved the stay!"
