We had 2 rooms for our family of 4 which were ready before the check in time, spotlessly clean and spacious with amazing views & lovely balconies. The breakfast choice was plentiful, with a cold buffet or a hot choice, all of excellent quality and quantity. Special mention to the housekeeping staff who kept the rooms and the entire hotel wonderfully clean & tidy, discretely & quietly but always with a cheery hello! The location was beautiful and only a 10 minute stroll to the centre of Stresa where plenty of great restaurants can be found. Absolutely no faults, can not praise it enough & would highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel! This is our second time staying in The Astoria & it won’t be the last! "The minute you walk into the reception area you are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The property itself is gorgeous and newly remodeled and restored. Every detail is gorgeous! The location is perfect close to any thing you want to do. We took a boat to the Iobella island and the jumped in the lake. Highly recommend this property"
