Friendly staff. Elevator to the room is 30 steps from the ocean. Clean rooms. Breakfast buffet is way too over crowded. The beach beds are there but for some reason the mattresses are not placed on top of them. But when we checked in the hotel wanted to keep our passports - we refused this and explained that I have already paid and have my credit card details. Because of this when we were at the bar to order drinks or food - we couldn’t add the bill to our room for me to pay at check out. I argued my point with this and they said this is because I haven’t left my passport. absolute idiots! Also the standard of the hotel is not as high up as stated on the site - there were loads of areas that were broken or outdated - broken flooring of the wood decking in pool area, missing pieces of tiles in swimming pool. The evening entertainment on the beach front bar was the same each night and on the night we wanted to attend we were told to move ourselves from the beach sofas because they had been reserved - but no one told us that we had to reserve it despite us spending money on drinks and food there - WHICH we couldn’t put on our room bill. It is in close proximity to nearby restaurants and eateries. There wasn't any laundry facility in the hotel so we had to carry our clothes to one nearby store. The one incident that was really frustrating is the fact that the bar didn't let us sit to watch their fire/music show. The restaurant in the hotel told us we can order and eat in the bar to watch the show, the two initial host/hostess said we can sit there. When my food was ready, another hostess said we can sit in that outdoor bar area unless we order drinks, So, she kicked us out. How embarassing and ridiculous. This is not one of the cheap hotels in the area, and this bar is part of the hotel. Needless to say, we won't be back to this. Service of bar is poor. Spent three nights here in the Grand Panorama Room. The room was amazing with a big patio to hang out on with a great view of the ocean and beach. The complimentary breakfast was very good and had a big variety. The only really downside was the loud music playing at the bar until 12-1 o clock in the am. Can’t really sit outside or in your room for that matter without hearing the loud music. Luckily we brought ear plugs so we were able to fall asleep while the music was going. The hotel was opened one or two weeks before. Stayed in a panorama room at floor 8 with a 270 degree view and a great balcony .Well worth the little extra.The location is great with a couple of restaurants within 350 m. ATM available to the right on the main street .The breakfast offers all you need , omelette , egg , bacon, yogurth ,bacon, fruit etc .Sunbeds are solid wood and for some days stay it may be worth to buy an inflated airbed.
