There are parts that are pretty, but they do nothing about garbage everywhere so it is one of the filthiest places we’ve been to. We saw locals eat there lunch then throw it on the ground- plastic is everywhere, and it stinks like poop. hygiene

Dirty , beach is horrible , garbage everywhere, if you want to enjoy the nice and clean beach you should rent the boat to go to the island far away from the town , street food is dirty , 6 of us got food poisoning after eating the street food
Phu Quoc was definitely the most disappointing stop of our Vietnam trip. The amount of garbage piled up on the island was disgusting. There are some nice beaches, but its an overrated island that I wouldn't go back to
The only activity we did was the cable car which was amazing. However we stayed on the car and returned rather than go to beach there as our beach was nicer.
Take a tour with taxi around 300,00 to 700,000 VND. Di not pay more. Eat at Night Market, more choice and cheaper (seafood is excellent). Do not eat meat becsuse it is more expensive.
