It was nice that I was able to check in even tho I arrived so late. Other than that it wasn't the best of experiences. To take a shower I had to sit on the side of the tub. I am 6'2" but that still wasn't cool. There was dirt and trash behind the tv stand that had to have been years old. The tub had moldy caulking and the bathroom sink leaked. I had asked for and confirmed a king bed and was given 2 queens. That actually worked out ok. There was no place to hang or stage my clothes. I guess the best thing was the price at $11 a night. I guess I expected to much.

Liked: Room comfort
Ok for an overnight
Functional and very average, certainly no frills. Requested a room change as the access panel in the bathroom ceiling was removed, making the room insecure and accessible via the ceiling void. Local area is dense with heavy traffic and intersections that make walking unpleasant. There are nicer parts of town to stay in.
I booked a room that said was 20 m2. The room I was given was 33 m2, so no complaints there. The wifi doesn't work, I had to work off my 4G connection. Located on a block with a bunch of local hotels that host weddings so it gets noisy at night. The area appears to be a little Saigon with a bunch of Vietnamese coffee shops around.
When I checked in and showed the Front Desk my passport, she didn't even bother to ask me if I have a booking and asked for me for money. I responded with the confirmation email from hotels.com and she gave me the key.
Absolutely no one of the staff spoke english, the reception staff was not polite, the hotel and our room had hardly furniture and everything was pretty run down. One night we had to hunt a lizard that came into our room. According to them, they offer continental breakfast for about US$ 3, but when we wanted to get basic food like coffee, orange juice, jam or butter, they did not have any of them. They only had eggs, bread and tea. The location is pretty bad as well. We had to move by tuk tuk, because it is far from the touristic attractions and restaurants. There is no wifi in the rooms, you have to go to the reception area for internet. I would not go back there.
My wife and I were unimpressed with this hotel. It was quite inexpensive and the room had nice high ceilings, but other than that, it was a real dive. There were working girls going in and out all the time, there was no attempt at sound proofing the room and ours was immediately outside the elevator and steps, so we had a lot of noise from other guests as well as people outside. The view was of a garbage-filled empty lot across the street. The staff attempted to help, but their English ability was very limited. They couldn't even call a bus company for us. It was easy to find a tuk tuk outside the hotel. From the airport by tuk tuk, it cost 5 dollars to get to the hotel. The neighborhood looked a little shady and there was garbage everywhere along the streets (maybe the next day was garbage day or something). Despite my low ratings, since the price is so low, it might be worth it if you just need a place to sleep and you're not picky at all.
