"Our stay was overwhelmingly good. There is no ac but it was manageable with open windows (first week in August). You can walk to a section of beach easily (along the river just before it meets the ocean). The restaurant next door was yummy but the service was slow only because they were really busy and maybe not enough staff? But food was great. My only two issues were that we were awakened at 6am with beeping from the delivery trucks directly outside our window and that the “common areas”...

"the harraseeket is a classic old coastal inn and it’s been maintained beautifully. the rooms were very tidy and graciously appointed. the staff was super friendly and helpful. the restaurant on site is quite good. prices are comparable to chains in the area, so it seemed like a no-brainer to stay at the historic option. overall, we loved our stay and would certainly stay again.
