"Wilmington and this chalet were both wonderful getaways for my husband and I. The chalet was well equipped, comfortable and cozy and had the bonus of a fantastic location. We hiked Haystack and Hogsback, swam and paddle boarded in Harriman Reservoir, and explored the lovely town (Bartleby's bookstore, breweries, Dot's and Village Roost were our favorites). All was within minutes or a short drive from this chalet. Loved the availability of washer and dryer, comfortable and cozy couches, front porch seating with grill, hammock, well equipped kitchen. Oh and it was on the walking trail (Hoot, Toot) which led to one of Harriman's beaches and to town the other direction (when open, it was temporarily closed to make it more accessible). All in all a really nice and relaxing stay in a cozy place with lots to do (or not!). Thanks!"

"All in all we had a great time for my husband and I, our daughter and her husband and kids, 10 and 4. The house worked out very well for us with a 1st floor queen bedroom and bathroom across the hall. The rest of the family were upstairs with their own bathroom. Everyone appreciated the gift of the pancake mix and maple syrup! There are plenty of plates and utensils which is especially handy since we ate every meal at home except for one. We also appreciated the many hooks in the house. We all enjoyed the clubhouse with the many activities. At first I was concerned that the pools were small for the number of households in Chimney Hill but there weren't that many people any day except for Saturday. And, even that day, there were plenty of chairs and space in the pools. Would definitely consider reserving again!"
"After walking around the quaint town of Wilmington, we couldn't decide where to go for dinner. We went to the bar to taste test the beer and ended up ordering a pizza. The bartender gave us ice to take upstairs. The building is an older building and has many eccentricities. We loved staying here and will stay again if in the neighborhood."

"The house and view of the lake are beautiful. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we've taken. Everyone loved it! We had a great time and got a lot of use out of the game room. The yard was big enough to play lots of lawn games. Tony was a pleasure to work with. Would love to stay here again. "
"Well the staff super friendly and accommodating.i would have liked a little spruce up of our room on a daily basis. Not a change of towels or sheets but emptying the trash without asking . The beds very comfortable. The grounds beautiful.I would definitely stay here again if the need arose.."

"This cabin is geared more for Winter and skiing since there is no air conditioning. Our family of 5 guys stayed here on 7/25/2025 because it was not that far from our rafting location, hiking and other attractions in southern VT. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen is stocked for all one's needs. We spent several nights after dinner around the firepit. We very much enjoyed staying here."

"We had a fantastic stay here! The location was exactly what we were looking for - a short walk into town and a quick drive to the reservoir. Our favorite part had to be the fire pit and spacious yard for kickball and wiffle ball. The pool table and ping pong table were great perks as well! We would absolutely stay here again."
