The house offers pristine distant views and easy access to Lake Whitingham, Enjoyed by swimmers, boaters, paddlers and fishermen. (3-Kayaks, stand up paddle board and multiple bikes included in rental). The house has an open floor plan offering 3 separate lounging areas. Cathedral ceilings in living room with exposed timber beams provide a rustic cabin feel. Radiant heated floor makes for a comfortable house in winter. Covered deck with grill and table just off kitchen. 3 Full baths, 4 bedroom.Two of the queen rooms offer amazing lake views. High quality game room is an integrated part of the house and includes a slate Pool Table, 12' Shuffleboard table, Foosball and Ping pong. Historic downtown Wilmington is 1 mile away. A walkable village center with shops and restaurants, nestled in a beautiful natural setting. Surrounded by lakes, mountains and forest offering miles of hiking trails. You can walk to town from our property mostly thru a wooded trail. less than a 1 mile hike! Driveway is plowed and sanded in winter. However we do require that you have 4wd or all wheel drive vehicles During snow season. House Features Include:- 60" TV, TV in game room, both smart TV's with surround sound, Hi Speed Wireless internet Leather couches- Quality game room (Slate pool table, Quality Shuffleboard , Foosball Table & ping pong) Sauna - BBQ on deck,Sheets & Towels are included. The Best quality game room! Mount Snow is a 10 minute drive- Covered outdoor hot tub(September- March only)- Indoor sauna- Wood burning stove Summer Features: Bikes (5) and kayaks (3)and newly aquired Paddelboard. included with rental- Lake for swimming & boating at base of private drive, amazing water quality.-Boat launch at base of private drive. 1 mile walk town,The town of Wilmington, a historic small town charted in 1751, is 1 mile away. Town highlights include restaurants, local boutiques, shops, library, supermarket, great bookstore & performing arts center... all just 1 mile away. Absolutely nothing lacking in this home from reserving to host communication to amenities to the view! Tony is the absolute nicest host. Clear instructions and consistent communication. The house is fully stocked with enough of everything from paper towels to dishes and cookware to wood for the wood stove, sheets, towels, throws, comfy furniture, games, ping pong, pool, hot tub, sauna, tv, stereo and loads of space! Clean and well cared for. Be prepared to shovel a bit if it snows. Stairs to main living area. Everything operated as expected. Highly recommend!

Never stayed in house where the kitchen had everything we needed!!! Everything! We like to do our own cooking at home. Hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. Fire pit looking out on the most wonderful views. Everything you want rec was plenty of - paper towels- toilet paper- cleaning supply’s- etc. tv’s both large and easy to use. Layout of house is different but after getting to know it - it’s nice being all spread out in bedrooms in house from each other. We used indoor sauna also. Don’t have kids but if someone does they have everything in downstairs game room to keep busy!

My husband and I and two couples had the absolute pleasure of staying at Tony’s home. There were three couples, and we all had our own room and bathroom and enough room to completely spread out. The setting is spectacular overlooking the water with beautiful sunrises and sunsets .We had SO much fun in the game room and The communication with Mark was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely be back. Thank you again for sharing your home with us sincerely, Cindy and Scott.

Beautiful

The house and view of the lake are beautiful. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we've taken. Everyone loved it! We had a great time and got a lot of use out of the game room. The yard was big enough to play lots of lawn games. Tony was a pleasure to work with. Would love to stay here again.

First off, the house is amazing. The view of the lake is wonderful and it is very peaceful being up on the hill overlooking the lake. The house also feels very spacious - lots of places for people to spread out and relax. And the game room was great - we really enjoyed that element of the house and it added a lot to our stay.Second, Tony is a great host. Very friendly and helpful and always quick to respond.One note about using the lake. Walking down the hill to swim is fine and its a nice spot to float and enjoy. If you want to kayak the kayaks are close to the bottom of the hill, but you do have to get them down to the lake (and then back up the hill a little when you're done). There is a cart to help with moving the kayaks, and it's certainly very doable (I did it pretty much every day). But it is a little taxing - especially bringing them back up after kayaking. But it's worth it - because there isn't much development around the lake it is very peaceful and serene, especially in the early morning. You can quickly kayak to spots where there are no houses in sight and the only thing you hear are the birds. Fabulous.Overall - great property, attentive host, wonderful location.

Our stay in Wilmington

The property was perfect for our family of 8. The view from the lawn looking out over the water was breathtaking. Deer passed through every morning, fireflies at night, even a few hummingbirds. The game room was a huge bonus too. We made a lot memories. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Great property

We rented this property for our yearly “friends group” vacation, and we were not disappointed. The view from the deck and yard is beautiful. It was the perfect backdrop for some yard games and hanging out. The house itself had plenty of activities and room for a group of guys to keep entertained for a couple of nights. Wilmington had just enough amenities to be convenient but still rural. Tony was extremely responsive and accommodating, as well. Overall, it was a perfect rental for the weekend.

Family Vacation 2025

Our annual family ski vacation is always at Mt Snow. This year we were lucky enough to spend a week at Tony and Jeanette’s home. Which is exactly as we felt - at home. The house is beautiful and the amenities perfect. The home was clean, guest linens and towels, paper goods all provided. We loved the view and the binoculars!! We would love to stay again.

Excellent ski trip

My extended family had an excellent stay at this property. It is clean, well stocked and cared for and has more than enough room for our two families of four to both spread out and come together. Multiple people in our party commented on this being the best game room we’ve had at a vacation house and the view was equally impressive, both of the lake during the day and the stars at night. Convenient 15 minutes to Mount Snow and lots of places to eat and drink right in Wilmington. For someone like me who gets up before the sunrise to ski, it’s also the little things like the lights of the plow clearing the driveway at 5:45am on a powder day that separate the good places from the great places and this is a great place.

Perfect getaway

The owner was available through call/text, although we didn’t need anything. Beautiful house with even more beautiful views. The game room was a big hit. Hot tub and sauna were great as well. This house has everything! We will definitely be back!
