"The hotel is perfectly located if you just arrived or are leaving from the Auckland airports. The included full breakfast was excellent and the room quiet and comfortable."

"The VR was changed to the Aero Hotel, or a similar name, which was next door to the VR. We thought the hotel looked run down and not welcoming at all. Very dingy and dark. Didn’t look clean. Someone had room service when we arrived early morning, and the dirty dishes were still outside the room the next morning! The girls at the desk at the adjoining hotel were very lovely and helpful. The restaurant and bar looked sad and not a place you’d want to spend much time in. More like a cafeteria. I wouldn’t recommend this property."

"Old. Needs updating. Small rooms and they claimed the mattress was a queen size bed. It was not. A double at most. I’m tall and my feet hung over the edge. "
