"This was a surprise. I just needed a late night check-in coming in from the airport. Easy to find. Greeted upon arrival. Comfortable but firm bed. Nice bathroom. Good WiFi. Way above average breakfast with nice touches: freshly squeezed juice, fresh assorted fruit. Wonderful staff and it was quiet - however, when people were up and about I could hear everything but there were no disturbances during the night and I am the lightest sleeper on the planet. "The hotel is very dated, but in a quirky, fun way. It's like going back in time in an Italian romantic movie. The staff are very polite, very welcoming, highly accommodating. The pool is beautiful and the private beach is gorgeous. The room is clean, but not exceptionally comfortable. "

"Hotel Maja was a great place to stay. It's right on the coastal road with the beach across the street. Service and hospitality were excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is excellent with the downtown area of Pescara is very walkable. Pescara downtown is a happening place with many restaurants and bars open late into the evening. The breakfast was great also."

"Short walk to a sandy beach, fortified by breakfast and cappuccino each morning. Proprietors gave us a bottle of wine as a gift for staying so Kate in the season. Perfect weather even in September. Only quibble was a mildewed shower curtain, probably in need of replacement after a long season."

"The hotel staff are really sweet and welcoming. The location is perfect. The hotel needs some upgrading with regards to furnishings and shower cubicle and the WiFi login system is very much outdated. All in all though it was a pleasant stay and the breakfast was good."

"The hotel is small, and the room was fairly basic, but clean and comfortable. We were tired from traveling so didn’t explore the area, but had dinner in the hotel. The food was outstanding, and the staff were very helpful with the menu as we know no Italian. The restaurant was very busy with a large private party, but we still received good service. Breakfast was also very good. Overall this is an interesting small hotel with an excellent restaurant, and I would definitely recommend it."

"Didn’t like the service at front desk, especially in the breakfast area and also at the beach. Also didn’t like the pre paid card idea instead of using your credit card . Also had to pay for parking 8 euro per day as well as need to pay at the beach for umbrella per day. This hotel definitely is 2.5-3 star hotel not 4 . "

"This is s nice hotel. You are charged $5 per person per day for the umbrella and two chairs. No problem except we were not told upfront. No washcloths and towels are thin. Wifi did not work on third floor. I would stay again but on first floor "
