Nice old town with soul. First time eat pizza with eggs ))).
Old Town Perugia is noteworthy for its historic sites, and you can make a stop at top attractions like Palazzo dei Priori and National Gallery of Umbria.
While Ponte d'Oddi might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Roman Aqueduct and Church of San Michele Arcangelo.

As nice as Tuscany but equally beautiful and less expensive
The underground escalators from the main parking lot outside and below the city went up through the old city walls and the medieval fortifications provided a unique and thrilling experience
We happened to be there for the Perugia 1416 festival in mid June - an amazing event and definitely worth seeing.
When I visit Italy I quickly get out of the big cities and plonk myself down in a smaller town and just mingle with the locals. Go in the off season; you’ll see what I mean. And if there take in a few classes at the university..
