Let me start by saying, I followed the Grateful Dead for a summer as a teen and I slept in an ancient Honda Civic, so my standards aren't high. That said, I walked into the room at the OYO and walked back out after calling my husband and telling him there was no way I was staying in this filthy cesspool with our 10 year old. I'm not sure where the pictures they show on the site came from, but it definitely wasn't this No Tell Motel. The bed itself was filthy, the floor was gross, the bed looked like it had been slept in, and I thought about using the bathroom, but didn’t want to catch anything. The bathroom door had two big holes punched/kicked in it, and it looked like someone tried to fix it with a hot glue gun. Pretty sure we walked past at least a couple of meth heads, I for sure saw a drug deal go down, and I was frankly surprised I came out to an intact vehicle. We saw the front desk guy in the parking lot and he asked if everything was okay...I handed him the key card and we checked out then and there. We hosed ourselves down with hand sanitizer and got out of there.
Do yourself a favor and just...don't. I wouldn't send anyone here, even if the story you get to tell your friends is amazing in it's awfulness.
