Spanish Key is situated directly on the beautiful beach of Perdido Key, FL, located just 5 minutes from Orange Beach, AL. The condo was in such a good location, just a few condominiums down from the FloraBama. We had the perfect spot on the beach for the fireworks. The condo was spacious with plenty of beds. Bring extra blankets if you tend to run cold because there were no extra provided. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was super convenient. Kitchen was lacking a few things, like kitchen towels, but we picked some up from the dollar store. Broken can opener. We messaged the property about these things so I’m sure the few issues we had will be resolved. Great views from the balcony. Nice size pool. Chairs with umbrellas available for rent. Area downstairs to keep your things like beach chairs, floats, etc. Parking lot is pretty small. We had a Yukon XL and had some difficulty maneuvering through the tight space. The ac wasn’t cooling and the property manager had the ac guys come check immediately. Fixed the problem very quickly. The condo was clean and easily accommodated our family of 3 adults and 2 kids. The view from the condo was amazing. The only issue we experienced was the balcony doors would not lock. I contacted the host and a repair company was out quickly to resolve the issue. They fixed one, but had to order parts for the other. We didn’t mind not being able to lock one door since our kids were older and knew not to go out without an adult. The host also provided recommendations for the restaurants with the best crab legs and they were fantastic! We also loved having the ice cream shop across the street.
