« First time staying here it was fab and well situated for easy access to the lakes just of the A66. Was good value for money with outstanding service and food from Nikki and her small team. « La jeune femme qui nous a servi nous a consacré beaucoup de temps pour indiquer ce qu'il y avait à faire dans la région. Le bâtiment est très ancien et a beaucoup de charme. Très propre. C'était vraiment très agréable de séjourner dans cet hôtel. Dommage que nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit. Thank you for this great stay. »

« This is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. « Lovely coaching inn in beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Welcome very friendly as was service throughout stay. Room not huge but adequate and very comfortable bed with good supply of linen. « We spent a night at the Wheatsheaf, to break the long drive from Scotland to Berkshire. Our room, although not huge, was clean, with crisp, white bed linen on a very comfy bed, and with lovely views of the pretty village church. Although warned about the frequent bell ringing, it did not disturb us in any way. Nice, white towels were provided in the shower room. Lucy and her team couldn't have been more welcoming, efficient, and helpful. It was convenient to be able to enjoy our evening...
