We stayed one night at the hotel The restaurant was very nice and we both enjoyed our meals there , both dinner and breakfast. the room we booked was a superior room, we were a little surprised to find 2 bunkers in the room (as well as the king bed) but it was quite spacious in the room so it was ok.
Lovely room. Very high standard hotel interior - don’t let the 1980s external appearance put you off as it is a very nice hotel with good modern facilities
Really clean and well presented hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and hotel was well laid out.
Excellent gym and pool and the food was fantastic both at breakfast and dinner.
Unfortunately no EV charging and dogs were allowed in the restaurant (a family were actually feeding their dog at breakfast!). These are minor issues for a really nice hotel however.

A very clean comfortable hotel with friendly staff.
Didn’t pay the extra £15 per person in order to use the pool - that’s extortionate when you are already a resident! Facilities looked nice however.
Decor of whole hotel lovely.
Waiter Joe was really good in the evening.
Room suffers from road noise if you have to have the window open (it was hot!) - understandable as it is very convenient to the M6 junction.
We loved our brief stay! Perfect for a stopover on the long drive from Sussex to Scotland. Ideally situated and clean with friendly staff and great facilities. The restaurant food was excellent, too - we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Our children loved their bunk beds in our room! Will almost certainly visit again.
We absolutely love this hotel, its so family friendly and has everything you need for a great holiday. My kids loved the pool, the breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety. This is our second time visiting this hotel and we would go again. Great loacation with many great walk and sights nearby.
Hotel and room were extremely clean and tidy but unfortunately there was a terrible odour in the entrance of drains. And the corridors and our room smelt of damp/animals. Our room was very small, but good condition. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time and the restaurant and reception staff were all excellent. Overall would stay again but I thought the hotel was very expensive for what it was.
Great location, just a short walk into town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and had a lovely ensuite. Only downside was a loose toilet seat and extremely small pillows. Nevertheless we would use this hotel again.
The hotel was beautiful, rooms lovely and clean! The swimming pool and spa facilities, steam room were very good and very relaxing! The food at the FYR restaurant on site was lovely and reasonably priced aswell. The only cons I would say is that the drinks at the bar and and the pool are very expensive, considering the amount you are spending on everything else, in my opinion they don’t need to be that expensive. Overall had a very relaxing weekend, and I would return.
