Comfort Inn Blacksburg University Area

8/10 Good

"Staff is always very nice have stayed there before. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is sufficient. However the room cleanliness was a bit off. There was a used bandaid, pet kibble and a dirty tissue on the floor in the room. The Breakfast area was messy someone had wiped the tables but there was liquid on the floor. Otherwise stay was acceptable."

Tru By Hilton Christiansburg

10/10 Excellent

"This is possibly the best Tru hotel that we have been to. From the moment we walked in the gentleman at the front desk, Harshal was wonderful and helpful. We were pleased to see a pool table in the lobby, where we played for several hours, snacking on all the delicious snacks that were available to buy including beer and wine. Our room was immaculate. The bathroom was immaculate. It had everything we needed . It was decorated nicely and well lit with lots of plugs near the beds. The breakfast was very, very good and fresh. They had sausages that were delicious, mini western omelettes, very fresh yogurt with tons of toppings, pancakes, , bagels, fruit, cereals and, juice, juices. The breakfast area was also super comfortable with lots of different options where to sit. The gal at the front desk, Tisha was very, very pleasant. Parking was easy and convenient. Overall, a really nice experience."

Hyatt Place Blacksburg / University

8/10 Good

"For a college town hotel, the room was well maintained. Just a few items our room needed attention to. The wardrobe door didn't close, refrigerator would not get cold and the pictures in the bathroom needed cleaned. They were covered with spots either from water or hair products. Wonderful breakfast!"

Charming 3-Bedroom Farmhouse in Scenic Pembroke, VA - Sleeps 8

10/10 Excellent

"My wife, I and our two Scotties enjoyed a pleasant Autumn four-night stay. The place was as advertised and extremely well kept. The host was very accommodating, quickly answering the few questions we had. If looking for a relaxing stay, look no further. A light sleeper may be troubled by the train whistles at the nearby crossing but for me it was a pleasant throwback to a long-ago childhood."

Creek Front Cabin in Pearisburg

8/10 Good

"My son, dog, and I had a nice stay at this cabin. It was in a peaceful location and we enjoyed some rest and relaxation, as well as a nice hike to Cascade Falls only 25 minutes away. The communication with the host was immediate any time I reached out, which was really nice to see. They were very accommodating when I had an issue with the hot water and heat and said they would have someone out right away to look at it, but I opted to finish my stay since I was only there 2 nights, and then have someone come to look at it. We enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to the rain. The bed was comfortable. They had cooking supplies so that I could heat up some meals we brought which was great. There were a number of cobwebs, but I didn't see any spiders inside and you are in a cabin so some wildlife was expected. Overall it was a nice stay. Thank you for having us!"
