Find hotels in Pelechy from CA $74

The best area to stay in Pelechy is within the village itself, particularly near the main square and the surrounding streets.

Pelechy is a small, traditional village, so the "best area" essentially refers to its compact core. The main square, though modest, is the central point, often featuring a small chapel or monument. The streets radiating from it are residential, lined with traditional Czech homes, many of which now offer guesthouse or holiday rental options. It's a very quiet and pleasant setting.

For families, staying within the village offers a relaxed base. Children can enjoy the open spaces and the general calm of rural life. The proximity to local walking and cycling trails means you can easily head out for a day of exploring the surrounding countryside directly from your accommodation.

Couples looking for a peaceful getaway will find the village's ambience perfect. It's an ideal spot for unwinding, enjoying long walks, and experiencing authentic Czech village life away from the hustle and bustle.

The best time to go to Pelechy is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and sunny, superb for outdoor activities.

During this period, you can fully enjoy the natural beauty of the Plzen Region, with opportunities for hiking and exploring the surrounding countryside. The longer daylight hours also allow for more extensive sightseeing and relaxation by the local lakes or rivers. This is particularly appealing for families looking for a relaxed holiday with plenty of fresh air and space for children to play.

Couples might find the late spring (May) or early autumn (September) equally appealing. The weather is still pleasant, but the crowds are thinner, offering a more peaceful experience.
