This is a one of a kind outstanding boutique hotel. The building and grounds are impeccable and first class. Service was friendly and discreet. You are surrounded by trees and a river runs around over half the property. The library with wood burning fire place is ideal for a before or after dinner drink. If you ever find yourself within 200km of this place, detour and spend a few days relaxing at this sanctuary.

we were only there one night while passing through the area. beautiful location by the ocean with its own beach and deck with cabanas with a great view. the room was a bit small, and the air conditioning did not work very well - we had to turn it all the way down to get it to kick in. very friendly and helpful staff though, and they have bike rentals to ride along the boardwalk.

Great place to stay: comfortable, all the amenities we needed, easy to access all the places we wanted to visit nearby, loved the swimming pool, balcony. Super helpful staff. Our microwave blew up and was replaced in minutes. We arrived outside the check in window and were rapidly helped. The parking/access system was cumbersome and slow, but apart from that it was perfect.

Only quibble, and a small one: There is a hefty charge for using both the sauna and hot tub. Have never encountered that before.
