"We had a family reunion of 14 of us from Colorado, Oregon, Wisconsin and Minnesota and we had a great time at this beautiful place. The gourmet kitchen was a huge blessing as we ate all our meals at home during our stay and it allowed several of us to work together preparing the meals.We also loved fishing from the dock and using the canoe and kayaks provided. The kids were thrilled to catch a variety of fish. One of my sons also brought along his boat and it was so convenient to have his boat docked there and easy to access during our stay.We made a special request for something needed and Joan went out of her way to quickly fulfill it for us.I highly recommend this great place if you are looking to make lifelong family memories!"

"Love this cabin! So close to the cities yet you feel like you're way up north. Love the kayaks, canoe, paddle board and especially the pontoon paddle boat. Fishing was amazing and the whole family had a great time.Thanks!"

"My family and I had an amazing weekend. There was plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 kids. Very clean and organized. My kids loved all the kids toys and inflatable water tubes/paddle boards already there which made packing that much easier. We also loved that we could dock our own boat right on the lake so we could take it out anytime we wanted. The water closer to shore was weedy and a bit mucky but got better further out so we could float and swim out there. Host was very responsive and so sweet. If you’re looking for a cabin and lake getaway but don’t want to travel far past the twin cities I would recommend this rental. "

"Amazing long weekend at Julia Lake. The cabin is just as described and the hosts are fantastic. We enjoyed coffee on the dock, kayaking, bonfires, and exploring the surrounding area. Pam and Leigh were friendly, helpful and gave great advice as to where to get a good meal, and glass of wine. We will definitely be staying at this cute and cozy cabin again and recommending others to as well."
