But I have to honest, the room I got was very dirty, the walls were stainy over the pillows. The pillowsheets were brown in the edges. The toilet were placed so close behind the shower wall that you had to back in, sit down and turn around 90 degrees. The airconditen made a lot if noise and did not like a proper AC should. Stefans Guesthouse was a good choice for me, the check- in was swift and efficient with very friendly staff. My room, was of a good size, a comfortable bed, very clean and everything worked ie, the shower , AC pus a wall fan, TV, fridge etc. I was quite happy to live with Thai style multi coloured and patterned floor and wall tiles! The Hotel is opposite the beach and the surrounding Soi's (street's) have everything you would need from Pharmacies, 711 stores, food stalls, shops, bars and restaurants and on the bus route into Pattaya. When I arrived at the hotel after a long journey, it felt nice that the friendly owner himself welcomed me. Everything was ready for me. I had reserved a large balcony room. The room had all the equipment of a normal hotel room, including air conditioning and a safe. The room was very clean. The location of the hotel is excellent. 100 meters to the sandy beach. All around in the same block is everything a lone tourist needs. Lots of different restaurants and services. The entire staff is very friendly. I especially remembered the owner and Num and Kate.
