Next door is a building with a famous hotel, large boutiques, and a shopping mall. There are transportation routes going both ways on both sides of the hotel, so transportation will not be an issue. There is also a convenience store next door, so that will not be an issue. Depending on the room, you may need to climb a spiral staircase to get to the first floor and upper floors, which can be very difficult if you are carrying a heavy bag. Do not expect a view worse than Marco Riviera. My room was in the parking lot. However, the cost was cheap, so I will consider it a compromise. If you are looking for a great hotel, I would recommend a hotel that is 5 to 10 times more expensive than this one. I am surprised Expedia have this dump on their books, it is awful. The swimming pool area in particular is dreadful. 5 ancient wooden rotting sun beds with mismatched seats, the beds do not alter their tilt position. Filthy, cracked & broken tiles make the pool surround an ugly death trap. The staff are often absent, leaving a mobile number to call if anything is needed. The room hadn’t seen a lick of paint for years & the bathroom left a lot to be desired with an ancient dripping tap & very old shower issuing little water. The toilet was clean & the bed comfortable.
