However, it was not easy to get in and out of the hotel with surrounding traffic. I had a great view of the bay and the pier. The room was big and the rain shower was great! The staff was very helpful and service was great! Clean bedding, spacious room. The bad: breakfast is ok if you like Indian or salad, but cereals, bread and Western options were limited. Room was not clean: hair on floor, old cobwebs in corners, footprints on the glass. Air conditioner sounded like an old diesel engine, even when mine was off, coming from the room next door, disrupting sleep. The ugly: the views of ‘sea’ and ‘mountain’ in the photos on Expedia are highly misleading. The pool overlooks a mess of old building backs and a smelly clogged up river, the other side has views of a low hill spoiled by very noisy 4 lane road. For the first time in 30 years of frequent travel, I checked out a day early. I want to park my car and they didn't let me despite I had booked a room. On another reservation they didn't allow me to use the elevator, they told me to use the stairs ( 3 parts) to check-in. The receptions were also very strict. Läget mycket bra, nära piren för båt ut till badöar. Nära men inte för nära partygatan. Stort rum, ok frukost. It is away from the busy district but I like it because it is quite. The only problem I have is they allow smoking in pool area. Hotel juste acceptable et ne mérite certainement pas une note de 8 ! Accès difficile coincé entre des routes… Accueil certe aimable mais le plus froid que j’ai pu voir en Thailande ! On vous récite toutes les amendes que vous aurez si vous faites ca ou ca….
