"This was one of our best stays during our trip to Italy. It is a B and B in an old convent. We had two rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The facility was very clean. It was quiet. "Three couples, cousins, stayed two nights at the Castello to explore Assisi and Gubbio. My wife and I and our young children stayed at the castle in 1998. We all thought it was special. Since then we have now been again twice and the experience has only gotten better and better! Highly recommend for an extremely unique experience in Umbria with much to see a in the area."

"The room fantastic, the surroundings lovely and there is potential to be 5/5. However we had two problems body there made worse by temperatures close to 40C. When we arrived here was nobody there to receive us so we were stuck at the gate for 1/2 an hour until I got the attention of a guest by sounding the car horn. Guests finding a number and ringing on cell phones IS NOT an alternative to reception and for us from overseas not an option. Secondly the air conditioning only worked in fan mode...

"We stayed 22 days. Wonderful villa. Fantastic location to be away from everything. Incredible views. Great property. Well appointed villa with everything you need. Clean. Daniella the property manager was a charm. Helpful and very nice. 10 minutes from Sinalunga and a great location to go to all the sites. Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, 1hr from Florence. Loved it. Highly recommend it. Great check in. Super place. Need a vehicle. Thanks Irene and Daniella."

"We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Hotel and grounds were impressive. Room was very comfortable. Had a drink outside before dinner. Still taking it all in. Dinner was incredible.
