"Veldig flott hotell ikke langt fra jernbanestasjonen i Gura Humorului. Hotellet var moderne og ganske nytt. Det hadde en veldig fin liten spa avdeling, personalet var veldig hyggelig. Frokosten ver veldig god. Hotellet hadde fått full score, hvis det ikke hadde vært for at aircondition fungerte dårlig, og det var veldig varmt på natten. Kjøleskapet fungerte heller ikke. Får de ordnet opp i dette, blir det et hotell i toppklasse."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Pârteștii De Jos?
The best area to stay in Pârteștii De Jos is within the village centre itself, particularly around the main road, DJ178A.

This central area offers the most convenience for visitors, with local shops and eateries typically located along or just off DJ178A. It's a rural setting, so expect a quiet experience surrounded by nature and traditional Romanian architecture. The village is relatively spread out, so being central helps with access to local amenities.

For couples seeking a peaceful retreat, staying in the heart of Pârteștii De Jos provides a lovely base for exploring the surrounding Bucovina region. You're well-placed for scenic walks through the countryside and easy drives to painted monasteries like Voroneț and Humor, which are significant cultural attractions nearby.

Solo travellers looking for a tranquil escape will also find the village centre suitable. It offers a chance to experience authentic rural Romanian life, with opportunities to connect with locals.
When is the best time to go to Pârteștii De Jos?
The best time to go to Pârteștii De Jos is during the late spring (May-June) and early autumn (September-October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with comfortable temperatures ideal for exploring the natural beauty and local attractions without the peak summer crowds. You'll find the countryside lush and green in spring, and the autumn brings beautiful colours to the landscape, great for walks and outdoor activities.

For those interested in hiking and outdoor pursuits, especially exploring the nearby forests and hills, late spring provides mild temperatures and longer daylight hours. Early autumn is also excellent for outdoor activities, with cooler, crisp air and often less rain than the spring.

If your visit is focused on cultural experiences and local traditions, the shoulder seasons still provide opportunities to engage with the community and visit local monasteries without the intense heat of July and August.
