I wanted to come up to Park Rapids to see my 3 yr old Grandson. My sister and one of our friends came. The weather was great and we could play outside. The condo was clean and very nice. Beds were comfortable. We couldn't even hear the people in the condo next door. Getting to town was easy. Great place to stay.

We Loved It
The condo is in a cute cluster of side-by-side condos. Of all of the condos, this one had the best possibilities for outside dining with 3 tables in 3 areas. We were fortunate that no one used the condos beside us. So, we had complete privacy. (If the other condos had been occupied, there would still have been “walls” between each deck.) The lake is large and the fishing is good. The location is perfect with just a short drive to Park Rapids, Itasca State Park and numerous lakes. (Be aware that there is no dishwasher and the laundry is in a different building. These were not problems for us.). This was one of the favorite places we have ever stayed.

Relaxing retreat
We enjoyed our week on Potato Lake. Our VRBO was clean and comfortable. The views of the lake were stunning. Spent time in Itasca State Park, reading, walking, and enjoying the sound of the loons. The caretakers of the resort do an amazing job taking care of the lawn and were very welcoming. We would return in the future.

Wonderful find on Potato Lake!!
My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this condo! The view of the lake from the back deck was amazing, and our kids loved swimming in the indoor pool at the resort. The condo was very clean and comfortable with more than enough room for our family of 4! Itasca State Park was a quick 25 minute drive, and Park Rapids is also very close so we were easily able to do some shopping or grab a bite to eat. The owner was extremely attentive to any questions we had leading up to our trip and checking in went seamlessly. I would definitely recommend this property to anybody looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway!

Great place to relax!
We really enjoyed this condo and it’s setting on Potato Lake. It was very quiet and relaxing with nice seating and sunning options. Nice linens and kitchen gear. We made about half our meals at the condo.

Great Vacation property
We enjoyed our stay at the "Love Shack". It was nicely appointed with the guest in mind. Large bedrooms, comfy beds, plenty of towels and generous "starter items" such as TP and paper towels. The view to the lake (and deck) was awesome. We mostly just slept there, but it would be a really great place to spend more time at. Already booked for next year!

We absolutely loved our stay in the “Love Shack” at North Beach Resort. It was so roomy. The owners thought of everything. The amenities were simple, yet very nice and absolutely just what one needs to relax. The huge picture window in the master bedroom gives the most lovely view of the lake. We came for a wedding, but can’t wait to return when we can spend time just enjoying the beautiful tranquility.

Nice place but no electricity at the docks.
If you want to visit a MN Lake and have a clean, comfortable place to stay with helpful owners, you’ll be happy. This was a fishing trip to Potato Lake for our group. The docks have no power to charge fishing boats, and the condo association does not support/tolerate anything we tried to salvage our trip. Without a charged boat, we may as well have stayed home. Owners Todd and John worked very hard to search for solutions for us, but the property managers blocked and harassed us at every step. Fisherman and women with boats beyond circa 1980 technology, this place is not for you.

Beautiful Property - only one downside
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Our only minor complaint is that the lake is very shallow at this part of the lake (as well as it being a very dry year) So the kids couldn't do as much swimming in the lake as they would've liked. But the pool totally makes up for that loss. Plus there's so much to do in the area that we were busy doing lots of other fun things!

This property was so clean and up to date. We stayed during the week and it was pretty quiet. Most times we had the beach and pool to ourselves. I would definitely here again. All sorts of seating options for outdoors. The only negative was that the AC unit on the second floor was in the master bedroom and the second bedroom where the kids slept was too warm. We ended up moving the mattresses to the floor of the master bedroom. Great view of the lake from the patio and master bedroom!

What a View!
This property was great for a stay at the lake! The accommodations were clean, the view of the lake from the back of the condo was beautiful, the yard allowed room for running around or positioning your lounge chair in the sun or shade. There is dock space for bringing along a boat.. The property had all of the amenities it listed on the website. The owners were easy to reach for any questions. My family would happily return for another stay!

We had a beautiful view of the lake and easy access to our boat. There weren’t too many people staying this week so it was nice. Park Rapids is a nice little town with restaurants and everything you need. The hosts at this condo were very nice and easy going!

Weekend Getaway
Cozy place with easy access to Itasca and the Heartland Trail. Perfect for a pandemic getaway. We appreciated the games and movies. One morning we woke up to see 3 deer ambling across the snow-covered beach in front of the condo, with steam rising from the water in the pre-dawn light.

Great place!
This is a great place to stay with a family or just as a couple. The townhome is enough room to have some space but be close together. Kitchen is well stocked with all the things you need to cook! Having 2 bathrooms is so convenient and helpful. The decks and the view of the lake are the icing on the cake. Wonderful views to wake up! Tons of seating and lounging available outside. Great to have dock space for our boat and the lake is great for fishing! Thanks for the wonderful place to relax and end our summer.

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful clean property with a peaceful view of the lake. It's close to Park Rapids and Ithaca State Park. The property owner answered my emails and texts quickly and even called half way through our stay to see how things were going and if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this condo at the North Beach Resort.

This was perfect for our family.
Great place to stay for our family of four. Close to where we wanted to be. The owner answers questions fast. We didn't get to enjoy it as much as we wanted though, as my husband feel sick the first night and went to the hospital and had emergency surgery for his appendicitis. I also was not so great at finding cartoons for the kids on the streaming TV while I loaded the car. Overall, it's a very quiet place and there are a lot of amenities that were not listed on here to take advantage of! I would come back to this rental again for sure! And loved the snacks, it is a great touch.
