The AC was a god send. Worked great after long days of exploring Paris and coming back exhausted. The rooms are smaller but perfect for two people, the bathrooms however are very spacious! The location to everything was great too. Only a 10 or so minute walk to the Louvre! Staff was helpful and friendly as well. We hope to stay here again!
The hotel is in great location
The staff are all great
The room was clean and nice but no lights it seems like a dungeon .
They say they maxed out on the power the can have in the room ??!!!
The breakfast is too expensive for what they offer
Just walk few minutes to the seine where the cafe has great food and better ambience
The bed and the bedding were heavenly!!! The AC was just what we needed during the heat wave this summer! The location is superb! We walked up the Louvre and Notre Dame. The room was tiny, but it had everything we needed, including coffee maker. We opted not to include breakfast, so we bought fresh croissants at a bakery within a block and had coffee with fresh pastries in the room in the mornings, overall we had a lovely experience at this hotel. I would stay there again :).
Beautiful hotel. Staff were very accommodating. I did find the pictures on the website, misleading as many of the rooms faced into a courtyard. We are definitely paying for the area.
We were very happy with this hotel. It was near the Seine and very convenient. We had meant to have breakfast outside the hotel but after trying the hotel breakfast the first morning we ate there every morning it was so good. The staff were always available and the rooms were comfortable in a quiet location.
Wonderful location and newly renovated hotel. Although the room was small, which is typical for Paris, it was thoughtfully decorated with style and amenities. The neighborhood was safe for nighttime activities.
Beautiful hotel in a great part of town. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. We could walk to many places and the ones far away we just hopped on the metro. The breakfast was very good also. Wonderful place to stay. The next time we come back to Paris, we will definitely stay here again.
The staff were fantastic! The room was very clean. The staff bring your luggage to your room when it is ready . Excellent location! Free umbrellas to use!
Fantastic location, nicest staff. Everything was new and clean. Every time we had a question the staff went above and beyond to help us out. They were very helpful for English speakers.
My wife and I absolutely LOVED this hotel! It was really close to The Louvre so close to many places we wanted to see while in Paris. Keep in mind this is your standard Parisian so it’s tiny but very cozy! I’m 6’3” so I had to actually had to sit down to take a shower. We had the top floor room with a balcony which means the roof is why the shower was so low. Worth it though! Super friendly staff, great breakfast if you want something quick without thinking, and A/C for those hot days (it was in the upper 90’s when we arrived.) Will 100% stay here again!
My cousin and I had such a wonderful stay here. The hotel was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what I was hoping for during our trip. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome and enhanced our experience.
A special thank you to Damion and Ajilas (apologies If I spell the names incorrectly) at the front desk for their hospitality. On our last evening, we wanted to relax in the beautiful lobby with a glass of wine, and Damion gave us wonderful recommendation & conversation. It was such a thoughtful interaction that made our final night even more memorable. Ajilas was equally kind and accommodating on our first day, going above and beyond to help with a request I* had forgotten to make for our room. His willingness to help was genuinely appreciated.
Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations. The combination of the beautiful atmosphere and the outstanding customer service made this a memorable experience. I will absolutely be staying here again on my next trip and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to stay.
This hotel opened only 5 days before we visited. Not all the rooms were completed yet, including the one we reserved. They discounted our stay by about 15%, which we appreciated. The room we were in was beautifully decorated and everything worked well. They were eager to be helpful. They say they offer a shuttle service to the airport and train stations, but that’s not exactly true. They will reserve a taxi for you, just like any hotel would.
This hotel has a great location near many tourist attractions and near lots of cafes and restaurants.
Our two night stay with two children was exceptional. The reception and staff were very friendly and helpful. The recent renovations were beautiful done and make the hotel modern, yet still charming.
We know the rooms in Paris tend to be small, so we found our Junior Suite to be very generous to sleep four travelers and enough luggage for our two week trip. The room was comfortable and exceptionally clean.
We took advantage of the breakfast at the hotel, both mornings. The breakfast staff was so warm and hospitable, especially Salink who was so friendly and accommodating to our children. The food spread was delightful (various pains, croissants, eggs, yogurts, charcuterie).
The location is incredible, a block from the Seine and a short walk to Louvre, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle and the Conciergerie. It’s on a side street, which was extremely quiet, yet in the middle of an exciting area, packed with bars, restaurants, nightlife and lots of historic and cultural sites. The area was safe and easy to navigate. A nearby grocery store and Metro stop made for an added convenience.
Staying at the Hotel Des Orfevres helped us make the most of our short visit to Paris.
