Babylon has a perfect location, walkable touristy places - hotel de ville, seine river, Notre damn and louvre! Plus bus stop and metro nearby, safe neighborhood, lots of vibrant cafes and boutiques. This is perfect for first timers with family.
We used the amenities-dishwasher and washer and the kitchen too. When I booked this, Expedia listed ‘air conditioning’ part of amenities but on arrival we saw only fans! after back and forth conversation with the property manager, who was pleasant and easy to talk to and work things out, he sent us air coolers. I didn’t have the time to go back and forth with Expedia about the listing mistake as we had days planned with sightseeing, I didn’t also want to spoil the holiday vibe by being on the phone. The property manager helped accommodate us with my family needs and the air coolers helped a lot.
Expedia made the change from ‘air conditioning’ to ‘fans’. Other than that there was no problem. Also, there is no elevator, but stairs to third floor, in the beginning it was tiring but you get used to it.
I think we enjoyed our first time in Paris more because of the location of the property and how comfortable it was for our family of 4, clean room, kitchen and bathroom. We used the kitchen to make breakfast, it’s stocked with coffee pods, teabags, supplies for dishwasher and washer! It felt like a cute apt in Paris :) also Lenny and Sophia from Babylon were helpful and answered all my questions. Will recommend this place.
