Country Houses Panarea CA $67

"The hotel is clean and has good decor but it is in an undeveloped area and is overpriced. We paid the same for a 4 star hotel in Ortigia which had a bigger room and proper restaurant. To get to the main Lipari town you need to get on a local bus which takes about 15 minutes. The area is a bit run down with no decent restaurants. The wifi didn't work in our room during the evening. Other people were more fortunate. We must have been in a black spot. The staff didn't help with this...

"Lovely hotel and staff. Recommend "

"We had an absolutely lovely room overlooking the sea and Strombolicchio, with a private outdoor deck under flowering vines. The amenities are a bit rustic but everything is clean, breakfast is tasty and staff are very welcoming. It was easy to book a shuttle from the port ferry, which turned out to be a golf cart like most vehicles on the island. There is a private beach with clean, safe swimming. The pool, we did not try because it costs extra and you have to wear a bathing cap. We deeply...

"Fantastic place - wonderful ambience."

"Friendly, corteous staff, spacious, cozy rooms with beautiful views, delicious food and amazing spa pools and treatments."

"Amazing place! Very clean, great location: center of Canneto, right across from the beach (crystal clear water), and 10 min drive to the center of Lipari. The proprietor, Nicola is a very kind and generous person. He helped us with great suggestions, reservations for restaurants and excursions. Definitely will go to this place next time we are in Lipari. "

"Staff were amazing, A Air conditioning worked perfectly. Our Superior Sea View room had a great view. The pool was our favourite part, as the weather never dropped below 30 degrees, it was refreshing to have to say the least. Only a few minutes to walk into the town/main streets."

"Beautiful. Staff was wonderful "

"Beautiful location and hotel. Our host was extremely helpful and generous, and had good recommendations. "

"Hotel Oriente was in a great location. Easy walk to the main street and both of the marinas. Friendly and helpful staff with a good breakfast. Lovely garden areas and so many museum pieces everywhere to look at. Would choose to stay again on our next visit to the beautiful island of Lipari."

"Simply the most wonderful place I stayed at in Italy! Magical location, extremely friendly family run hotel. I would definitely book it again."

"Abbiamo trascorso una settimana indimenticabile, piena di calore, cortesia, bellezza, generosità, disponibilità. Ci siamo sentiti a casa, accolti dai titolari come se fossimo di famiglia. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Speriamo di ritornare "
