"We arrived at the hotel after a 20hr journey quite tired and ready to have a little nap to get used to the time difference. However, after booking through Expedia, who we have used many times before with no issue, the hotel staff had no clue of our booking and tried to make us pay in cash again. I showed the hotel staff the booking and even showed them the credit card payment on my phone. They insisted on payment in cash which we were not going to pay. "Beautiful hotel, with a lovely, basic clean room. Comfortable bed and roomy shower. Had a balcony overlooking a roof, but would have been nice to sit outside there if it wasn't continuously raining. Great included breakfast, with lots of choice and lovely serving staff. Did not use any of the other amenities, but the outdoor area would have been nice to use if the weather was more obliging."
