Amazing Home
4 master bedrooms with private bathrooms and a large kitchen. What else could you ask for? Unbelieveable stocked kitchen with all the staples included. 2 full size refrigerators and 2 washer and dryers We hiked Bodenburg Butte first morning and then hit Independence Mine( still snow covered in Mid May). The Butte hike took about 2 hours and was well worth all the stairs!!! We stayed on top for a half hour enjoying the view Felicia is an an amazing host and quick to reply. We had no issues!!

Location, Location, Location
Abby’s Place is Palmer is in a great location 30 minutes north of Anchorage. The home is located on a private lot with plenty of room for parking and enjoying the serenity and beauty of Alaska. The home has an open lower floor which accommodates 12 comfortably and four private bedroom/bathroom suites upstairs. Our family traveled from Boston, Austin, San Diego, and Phoenix to visit our son who lives in Anchorage. We highly recommend Abby’s Place!

Family Easter Vacation
My Neice was doing a PA rotation in Wasilla and was going to be here over the Easter holiday so the whole family decided to take a vacation here. Her parents, sister, cousin, aunt, uncle, and grandparents all made the trip for 11 nights. House is in a great location for exploring north and south valley areas. Kitchen is very accommodating for home cooking and laundry facilities are a bonus for a long trip. Only “listing” quirk is that it appears that one of the bedrooms has 2 queens and a single - but there is not a 2nd queen in any. Still plenty of sleeping space for 9 of us. Each bedroom with its own full bath is great for everyone getting ready to go out together. Great deal for plenty of space!

Just what we needed
Abby’s place was absolutely perfect. A moose greeted us in the driveway most evenings. The kitchen was well stocked! The kids loved having their own rooms and having movie nights in each others rooms. The location is perfect, right off the highway into Anchorage and the Parks highway to outdoor adventure! Check in was easy. Plenty of towels, bedding and pillows. We talked about staying here again in the summer. It was l perfection!

Beautiful stay
We had a wonderful stay. The house was very nice. My only complaint is not enough comfortable seating in the living area. There is only a seat for 4 people and the dining table has 6 chairs but they are tall like bar stools so your feet dont touch the floor. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you could possibly need. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were very big and comfortable. Two big washers and driers to keep up with laundry. The owner kept the drive plowed out nicely for us and salt on the sidewalk. We enjoyed our stay.

Home for the team
We chose to stay here for our week-long stay to prepare for our State Championship Robotics tournament. It was great to spread the team out throughout the rooms and we had a great area to practice and hold team meetings. Very comfortable and close to everything we needed.

Wonder house & hosts
I traveled with a group of 8 and we stayed for 10 days. The house was very spacious and accommodated all our wants and needs! Our hosts did such an incredible job with communication during our stay to insure we had no questions or problems. The photo’s provided were exact. The location was perfect as well, it was practically right off the main highway but yet it felt very secluded. We were in close proximity to Palmer and Wasilla. The drive down to anchorage was about an hour but it was a very easy drive. The girls I traveled with all agreed that when we come back for a spring trip in the future we will most definitely being staying here again!

Beautiful house and wonderful hosts
The hosts were great to work with. They answered all questions we had regarding any excursions we had around the area. The house was beautiful. We enjoyed the fire pit with load of wood already there. We witnessed 3 moose walk through the yard. The beds were comfy and supplied linens were plentiful. Truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again ourselves.

Wonderful Alaska Adventure

Great Few Days!
This property is just as advertised. Nice big house!! Lots of room. Lots and lots of towels and washcloths provided, kitchen was well stocked and appliances were top notch. We had a small issue at check in but the owners made it right and all was well. We had some pretty warm days and the house has no AC but the fans provided helped. 4 large bedrooms all with private baths were great! A bunny rabbit in the driveway was the only wildlife we saw but we loved sitting out in the yard, so peaceful. We would highly recommend this house and would love to stay here again one day!!

Excellent property with easy access.
This is a wonderful property for a group to stay. The four bedrooms were comfortable and well insulated. The open design of the kitchen, eating and sitting areas really allowed good interaction for all there. The appliances were top notch, new and in excellent condition. Will definitely return to this property if we're in the area!

Perfect for our family stay!
The property was extremely well kept and very comfortable for our family of 4. I liked the way the house was organized:. The upstairs containing 4 suites, each with their own bed, desk, TV and full bathroom, almost like you would have in a hotel. The downstairs was the community area including the kitchen, dining, living area. I personally enjoyed the well stocked kitchen. As we did a fair amount of cooking, I appreciated the high quality pans and breadth of kitchen tools. Outside, we made good use of the grill and fire pit. The grill was clean, functional and had a full tank of gas. The fire pit was extremely well supplied with fuel. All in all, we had no complaints and would absolutely stay there again.

We absolutely loved the house and the views. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. My only recommendations would be is that there is construction happening near the property and there’s a good amount of workplace debris in the woods on the property. Another recommendation would be better communication from the owner prior to the stay. Most VRBO’s I have used in the past email you welcoming you and providing you with the pertinent information. It makes you feel much more welcome. The only communication that I had with the owner prior to our stay was payment reminders. The one time I asked them for the address, they told me that VRBO had already sent it to me instead of just sending me the address. Just little things, but they are a little things that could make it just a little better. Nothing that would deter us from staying there. Overall we had an amazing stay and would stay there again.

Great Location!
Beautiful home and surrounding area! The 4 master suites were perfect for our group after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. The location is close to anything you might need (hospital, grocery store, pharmacy), but out of the way enough to not feel like you're in a city. We really enjoyed watching the mother and baby moose (from inside the house) in the mornings.

Great place for family trip.
The set up is the rooms as hotel suites was perfect for our group with two families with infants under two. The host was fantastic providing two pack n' plays and a highchair for the kids that made it so much easier to travel. They were great to work with and very responsive. A great place to base camp!
Abby's Place is great! Our family of 7 spent two weeks there and enjoyed every moment of it! It's in a great spot, central to the Mat-Su Valley. It had all the amenities we needed. It was spacious and comfortable - the black out curtains were a nice touch mid-summer, too. Communication with the owners was superb. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We really lucked out finding this place! My daughter decided to have a destination wedding in Alaska and wanted to get married at Hatchers Pass. The house was perfectly located and is just like the photos, very clean and plenty of room for everyone. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with everything you need. Perfect when you are staying with a few different families. We hired a chef to cook a wedding dinner, the chef was so impressed with the kitchen especially the two refrigerators and the kitchen had everything she needed to cook us a true Alaskan meal. Felicia was so nice and patient, with all the traveling and dealing with the wedding, I got the check in time mixed up and didn’t have access to my e-mails to read how to get into the house. They were so sweet, and they were able to get us in a few hours earlier. THANK YOU! But it did give us time to check out Palmer’s Friday Flings (Farmers Market) and the Musk Ox Farm. While we were at the farmers market I had the best food ever - Mamma Rav’s, wish I could take it back home to Michigan. Every morning we got up, hoping to see a Moose in the front, but all we saw were tracks. LOL Palmer is a diamond in the rough...its truly beautiful and has a lot to offer. In just a couple days, we had a wedding at Hatchers Pass, checked out the Alaska State Fair, horseback riding at Alaska Horse Adventures (highly recommended). If it was up to my husband, we would have just stayed at Abby’s place for the rest of our trip. I truly fell in love with Alaska and all the people we met, it was truly a trip of a lifetime, I will recommend Abby's place to anyone that's planning a trip to Alaska.

Beautiful house on nice secluded lot surrounded by trees. It smelt so fresh out back. The kitchen is huge with plenty of room for gatherings. The bedrooms and private bathrooms were luxurious, large and very comfortable. My only suggestion is knock out a garage wall from kitchen and convert to a living room. Beautiful property, very very clean. Owner was great.

we were impressed with the comfortable, well furnished house with lots of amenities (washer/dryer, yard furniture and grills). it’s perfectly situated between palmer and wasilla, and we really enjoyed our stay here. the hosts were easy to communicate with and fixed an issue with the lock very quickly.

Our group of grandma, uncle and two teenagers loved having our own rooms. The house is clean, well maintained and in a beautiful area of trees. The backyard is huge with grills we enjoyed using. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The owner was very responsive to the one question we had about the thermostat. We will definitely recommend this home to friends and family. This is the BEST VRBO we have stayed at and is was a short drive into Anchorage and only a few minutes to Wasilla.

Abby’s place is Amazing!
Our family had an amazing time at Abby’s place, May1, 2021 to May 8, 2021. Our flight arrived in Anchorage around 11:30 pm so we got to the house about 1:30am. Felicia had sent me the door code, google maps took us straight to the front door ; when we pulled up the house was all lite up., very welcoming. There were some more pleasant surprises waiting for us like bottled water, coffee and breakfast fixings for our first morning. We really appreciated this gesture, so nice! The house is amazing and exactly as described. Super clean, the beds are nice and comfortable, plenty of nice bath towels and washcloths. The four master suites was a real treat. The property was beautiful and the back yard really nice; part of the last frontier for sure. On our last day my son walked out the front door and there was a moose in the yard, nice ending to a beautiful Alaska Family vacation.
