« They knock at the door at 11 sharp. I said I needed a little more time as I was sick at washroom. They rang the phone, knock at the door every 3-4 minutes (llouder and louder) until I left at 11h40\. The front desk guy, Non-stop! When I left, the room maid was simply doing another room. I never saw this in other hotel, front desk man becoming litterally crazy at 11 sharp for checkout time! »

« I had a very relaxing overnight at the Fig Tree Manor. I was immediately welcomed to the house and shown to my gorgeous and comfortable room. There are multiple covered porches and a patio area by the pool. The house is beautifully decorated and stuffed with antiques - it was like walking into a museum. The living room is open for use by all guests and has comfy couches and chairs, shelves of books to read, and coffee, tea and water is available at all times. Morning breakfast was delicious...

« I cannot say enough, good things about this host and house! We stayed in this beautiful, huge, seasonally decorated, comfortable house for a long weekend in order to take our Polar Express train ride in Palestine, Texas. Our host was extremely gracious and attentive and kind. There were seven adults,1 teenager, and 4 young children in our group. We were all incredibly comfortable and happy. The game room was open and beautiful, and the kids enjoyed “exploring” and nature walks (supervised) while...

"They knock at the door at 11 sharp. I said I needed a little more time as I was sick at washroom. They rang the phone, knock at the door every 3-4 minutes (llouder and louder) until I left at 11h40\. The front desk guy, Non-stop! When I left, the room maid was simply doing another room. I never saw this in other hotel, front desk man becoming litterally crazy at 11 sharp for checkout time!"
