The patio is well shaded and a pleasant place to sit. The location was excellent-just a short block to the river and in an historic neighborhood with a nice variety of housing styles. The kitchen has a sink and microwave and plenty of utensils and plates and glasses; we did not realize that there is not a stove, but we mostly ate out, so that wasn't a problem. The "cottage" was a converted garage. It was dirty and very old furniture that we were not comfortable sitting on much less sleeping in the bed. There were dead bugs on the floor and we were unable to turn on the tv or sign on to wifi. Very disappointing, we left 10 minutes after we got there and checked into a hotel.
