The Granary sleeps eight guests and though superbly spacious with high ceilings and large rooms, retains the rustic, cosy charm of a country cottage. Original stone walls and exposed roof trusses add character to the contemporary interior, and along with a terrific range of modern features and top notch furnishings, the home feels thoroughly inviting. Downstairs there's a big kitchen/ diner that comes fully equipped for preparing and sharing home cooked meals, along with a lovely separate living room where a log burner keeps things toasty during the cooler months. Upstairs are the cottage's three bedrooms which include two spacious doubles (one of which is en-suite) as well as a perfectly formed twin, and a roomy family bathroom with a free-standing bathtub and walk-in shower. Sunny days can be spent outside in the front garden where guests can dine in the fresh air or enjoy long, lazy soaks in the private hot tub. There's plenty of space for children to stretch their legs too, with a shared meadow available to all guests, as well as the Granary's own lawn area. Higher Yalberton Farm is perfectly placed to make the most of all that the area has to offer including lunch and bubbly at nearby Sandridge Barton wine estate or walks along the river in Stoke Gabriel. Totnes lies just 10 minutes' drive away, along with Dartington Hall and Dartington Cider Barn. In the opposite direction, Torbay with its three coastal towns of Paignton, Torquay and Brixham, is within 15 minutes' drive too so you'll have plenty to see and do during your time here. \*The Granary is most suited to families & couples looking for a tranquil holiday in the rural South Devon countryside setting. It’s not suitable for party groups, hen or stag do's. Apr 25, 2025 #### AMAZING Wow, what a place. Absolutely stunning inside with the beams. Very tastefully done. Everything u need in the kitchen and very spacious for a family. The views and the space outside, with the little stream at the end of the garden is a lovely little feature for the children. Jennifer was amazing too, and in hand with anything we wanted.....even helped out with providing us binoculars, after me spotting a buzzard and bot bringing mine.
