Truly a beach decor, with vivid blues and whites, this four bedroom house is only 400 feet from the beach. The three bottom-floor bedrooms are completely private of one another (2-Q, 1-K). They all have a private bathroom, closet, WIFI, cable TV, hair dryer, an iron and ironing board. Each bottom-floor bedroom has a glass sliding door. Upstairs leads to the entertainment area and kitchen. The kitchen has complete cooking utensils, dishes for 10 + guests plus a set of four plastic dishes for the children, a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, microwave, toaster oven and blender. The large top story is an open floor plan, so you can cook, watch TV, drink at the bar and eat without feeling isolated. Or head out to the outdoor patio to barbecue on a natural gas BBQ or have cocktails during sunset. There is a glass table and chairs and plenty of additional room for mingling and enjoying the ocean breeze. The Master Suite upstairs supports a complete family with a king bed, bunk beds and a pull-out single. The bathroom has a large shower with 2 shower heads. This bedroom also has its own cable TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The house has beds for four (4) couples and three (3) children, Ventura County permit only allows 10 guest. The Silver Strand Beach has waves that are great for boogie boarding and surfing. The sand is clean and soft for a walk or run. You can kayak, rent an electric boat to cruise the channels, stand up paddle boarding, sport fishing, visit the Channel Islands or just relax on the sand. Pets are allowed with an additional $50.00 cleaning fee. After playing at the beach, you can clean up with the outdoor hot and cold water shower. Relax around the natural gas fire pit. There are three (3) parking spaces for guest in front of the house. The garage is off limits to guest. If you have more than three cars, there may be parking available on the side streets. A mile walk, bike ride, or drive you will find a grocery store, coffee bar and restaurant. Two miles out of Silver Strand, you can drive to a shopping center with a Ralph's market, Starbucks, Manhattan Bagel, I Hop, Toppers Pizza, The Waterside Wine Bar and Restaurant, Ross, plus many more amenities. Loved how every bedroom had its own bathroom, loved how close it was to the beach, loved how clean it was and everything worked... with a few small quibbles. Upstairs shower kept going from cold to hot, couldn't control it. Pillows were all too soft, two of us had to go to Target to buy a couple firm pillows, so you might want to get a few more of those for guests with different taste in pillow. And there were 9 of us, and only 4 forks, so maybe the last guest accidentally lost a few. But overall great, I'd come back for another big family gathering. ##### James K. Our communication with the owner was excellent and she was very responsive. Check-in was super easy with a code and the house was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the outdoor shower to clean off sand, and the enclosed fence around the property gave us peace of mind with our dogs going outside. The beds were VERY comfortable to sleep in and the location was perfect. Super close to the beach and walking distance to Silver Strand restaurants. First off, location, location, location! The house is a 1 block walk to the beach, which is awesome if you left something behind or need to go to the bathroom! My mom is elderly and didn't go with us to the beach, so it was so nice to be able to run back to check on her whenever we wanted to! The house is very roomy with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms! The kitchen is incredibly well stocked! We always bring important kitchen items when we rent, but this place had it all. In addition, the deck area off the living room was a nice bonus. Our dog spent a lot of time out there. Lastly, the owner was very responsive and thoughtful. He even left us a big bag of ice because the ice maker had just been repaired and he didn't know if it would make enough ice before we arrived. We will definitely return and can't recommend this house enough! ##### David E. The place was just perfect for us. We had 9 people total in our party 8 adults and 1 teenager (14). It has everything we needed. One of the biggest game changers for us was that each of the 4 bedrooms had their own personal bathroom with shower which is huge when having so many people getting ready for a wedding. It also has an open kitchen/family room area where we all could hang out comfortably and spend some quality family time. Will plan to stay here again if and when we have our next family wedding in California.We also loved the neighborhood and the ability to walk along the beach which is only a block away and see all the sea lions. Lastly the hosts are great at getting back to you with any questions you have and also went out of their way when my daughter left her wallet. Just a 5-minute walk to beautiful Silver Strand beach. The home was about perfect for four couples & one kid. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, and 2 have king-sized beds. There’s a large gathering space on the upper floor that was very comfortable. Big kitchen/well appointed. ##### Terri F. Second morning no hot water throughout house. Third morning overflowing toilet in another lower bdrm which after plumber left we had to clean up and do laundry so we might have some extra towels. Expect to live out of your suitcases because two bdrms have no drawers and the drawers in the third lower bdrm are in closet whose doors barely slide. Upstairs in the kitchen/living area you also need to keep your foodstuffs in bags because no where to put it it. The table area was used for storage. There are plenty of plates, cups and silverware but as far as a well stocked kitchen it’s not. No mixing bowls, plenty of lids with no bottoms, etc. The laminate cupboards are peeling. As for cleanliness, outdoors pretty much nothing is cleaned. Indoors basically the pathways where you walk are probably cleaned but outside of that not. Dead spiders were seen along the baseboards which probably haven’t been been cleaned in ages. Well before covid I’m sure. My daughter and her guest ended up getting a hotel room 15 min away after the toilet debacle. I’m not really sure why guests are even charged a cleaning fee. It is close to a sandy beach and does have a nice bbq, just bring your own baster. Overall I feel Vrbo did us wrong on this one and need to present current pictures of property to prospective renters and not lie when describing it ##### James C. Each of the 4 bedrooms had a full bathroom, tv and a ceiling fan which was nice. Had all the amenities we needed in the kitchen. Short walk to the beach in the nice quiet neighborhood. We even got to see all the sea lions on the beach at the harbor. A little wear and tear on the beach house and some not so tidy rooms but all and all a nice place to stay. ##### Chelsea P. It is equipped with everything you would have in your own home to cook meals for the entire family. And there are even chairs and toys to use at the beach!
