"The staff treated me so well. Working with me even with a language barrier. After a few weeks of the Tokyo and Osaka life, that place was a slice of heaven, my only regret was not staying longer. The baths were nice, the place was super clean. Transportation to get there is a bit difficult, but that I think is what makes this place attractive, since it's in such a nice, quiet part of Japan. Going there during the Sakura season was amazing too. "

The Onsen options was amazing as well the Breakfast and dinners was very high quality and delicious. The shuttle that runs you to the station every hour was very convenient and on time. "Stayed for one night while going to Toba aquarium. Room was amazing very large and with a beautiful view of the sea. Staff were great very helpful the entire time. Hot drinks were free from a relaxing bar on the 1st floor. Breakfast was a Japanese style. Various different. Vegetables, fish and some fruit with rice, udeon and miso soup. We were even provided a meal voucher for the night when we arrived. Can't speak for the baths as we didn't use them for the night but I'm sure they are lovely as well. If your reading reviews to pick what place to book. Id say go with this one. "

"Staff: very friendly. They are very responsive to my questions. I managed to ask for pick up service just several hours before my arrival. They are able to entertain my request. At the property, staff is very friendly. I feel at home. Location: the onsen hotel is near utsumi station. There is a free pick up service from the station. A wonderful sea view from the room. Can walk along the coast anytime. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. But we chose to dine in at the hotel. Cleanliness and size : clean and spacious. The hotel probably spends a lot of money on the maintenance. The hotel looks very grand but at the same time looks very ‘japanese’. I have been to many onsen hotels and I would say this one is the best at this reasonable price! Highly recommended if you go to Nagoya "

"I thought I had arrived at a resort with its palms, high rise apartments and manicured gardens. Definitely a holiday destination for the Japanese people. Spacious and comfortable with a microwave. As it was not close to Toba, having a car and the microwave allowed us to be more independent, not relying on eating out. The supermarket had plenty of takeout options. "
