Perfectly located in the heart of Ottawa.
The hotel feels fresh and updated overall, however i will say the 2 dbl bed room felt small and cramped - with the front door opening right onto the closet door. There was little space between the beds. The room had a view of a rooftop - less than desirable. In Unfortunately our toilet felt wobbly and the sink filled up with water - clearly in need of maintenance.
The hotel provides a top sheet separately - not in the bed, personally i am a flat/top sheet enthousiaste and don't like sleeping just with a comforter (must be a generational thing)
The pool area is shared with the adjacent hotel - the hot tub has been built over with a makeshift deck - obviously with no intention of coming back. Gym was well equipped for a couple days stay with the basic equipment and machines.
Ottawa has a growing homeless problem and the hotel does a good job at keeping them at bay, but there is only so much they can do. They were no bother to hotel guests, just sitting around.
I'd stay again, but would request a better floor/view/room
