Small dark room like a bowling alley

Posted 18-Apr-2017
Had heard lots of hype about this 'boutique hotel' but felt that quality was lacking compared to price point. Room and bathroom were very small, and the elevator was slow. Nice seating area up from the reception desk. I would not stay here again.

Our Stay

Posted 7-Apr-2017
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Restaurants, coffee shops, parliament buildings, shopping all within easy walking distance.
We haven't been guests at The Arc for a couple of years. We were very pleased with our current stay. The staff, facility etc. were all excellent. Of course the hotel's location is perfect; so convenient to all our needs. We definitely will book again, when we return to the area.

Somewhat Disappointing..

Posted 16-Jan-2017
Booked a Sat night getaway last weekend and I was left with mixed feelings about the ARC Hotel. Positives Staff was great, professional and helpful Room was clean Comfortable bed Negatives *No parking - $32 for Valet seemed a little over the top *No vending machines or ice - Forced to pay 12.00 for 3 x Diet Pepsi *Overall Appearance - First glance is a trendy spot however after looking around the place needs a refresh. Walpaper tears, scratched up tables... Not what a upper class hotel should be in my opinion. *Having 20+ people having a party in the next room. Woke us up a few times. Size of "Suite" - Booked the highest level room on Expedia and it was not what we expected for the price, small and dated.

The room was nicer than an average hotel. Clean, modern room, bathroom was dated. The view was none... Looked right at a side of another brick building. Location was amazing. Parking was expensive and they didn't know how to drive my manual car well. The bed was the worst I ever had in any hotel. And we were making sure nothing was left behind in the end. And we noticed the king bed was resting on 2 double box springs :/ no wonder it was sooo bad!

Not worth it

Posted 7-Jan-2017 on Hotels
Not super worth it. Parking was ridiculously expensive and the room was ok but price was way too high for what you get. We got the "king" room but the bed was definitely not a king. Overall not too much to complain about, but very underwhelming.

Great location - expensive area.

Great location but self parking is two blocks from the Hotel and not a lot cheaper than the valet parking offered at the hotel for $32/day.
