The view of the surrounding farms, treed hills, and mountains was stunning. The host supplied a basket of goods to make breakfast, which was lovely. We fell in love with Frankie, their farm cat, and enjoyed cuddles on the deck with her and her kittens. Beautiful citrus trees and landscaped areas created privacy from the farm and host. Immediately, we were taken by the many birds singing and otherwise general quiet of the property. It is a working farm, so we enjoyed the chickens and cat wandering by. The patio offers a perfect seat for the sunset. The mornings offer views of fog settled in between the hills. The location is a short drive to Otorohanga and the Waitomo Caves area.
