Cheap, for the neighborhood
The photos are better than real, and the toilet is tiny and very humid. Out of it, the size of the room is good, but the neighborhood is not good, a bit freek but safe in general. The homeless in Japan are polite, they do not ask for a change as in other parts of the world

This room was a great size for our family and had a lot of storage for luggage. The area is quiet and close to the train station and with lots of food options.

This “hotel” takes the top position for the worst place I’ve ever stayed. It will make our stay in Osaka so memorable just because of how bad it was. 1) It requires a 5 page PDF of instructions to find the entrance and get into the place, because this is NOT a hotel, 2) the room entrance looks like you’re opening up a storage locker, 3) the room is non-smoking, but there’s a smoking area inside the unventilated hallway right next to the room anyway, 4) the bathroom was infested so badly with mould I was concerned that my family would become ill from spending time there, 5) the shower curtain covered only 1/4 of the shower bath, however it smelled so bad we didn’t use it anyway, 6) the small double and small double sofa bed in the “family” room are very uncomfortable.
Only stay here if you cannot afford anywhere else.

Families should avoid, kinda scary for adults too
Hello, the property is fine if everyone is an adult. If there are any children, you should find something else. The property is close to the red light district and is surrounded by bars and those experiencing homelessness. As such, there is definitely an unsafe and unsavory element that is just impossible to escape. A few examples, on my first night there - I couldn't enter my room...There was a very drunk man relieving himself outside of the building. You may be wondering what did I see...Let's just say, i wasn't impressed and it wasn't that cold outside. On my second night I saw a man beating his, what I assume is, wife just outside the family mart on the corner. To be honest, i considered filing a complaint and requesting a full refund. Luckily, I was only staying 2 days - otherwise I would have!
