First vacation in a loooong time

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Brand new private residence in charming "Key West" style resort community. Beautiful pools and landscaping. Individual hot tub a huge plus. Wonderful concierge service at Hotel. Things to consider: stock kitchen with some basics like salt/pepper, sugar, coffee/tea. Add more shuttles when busy. Great free shuttle service, but long waits at checkout/check in and dinner times.

It was ok, but far from amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booked through Marriott and there was zero flexibility with our stay. This home is not accurately placed on Google Maps - make sure you look at the resort map (0.6 mile walk). We asked for more accessibility and were stuck here because the day we booked was only 9 days in advance, not 10+. Overall the cottage was nice and clean, and the hot tub was enjoyable, just wish there was better flexibility.

Reviewer Comments: have stayed margaritaville multiple times, must say services have went down hill.,half toliet paper rolls were given to us, no longer have the guard which I loved the safety aspect of it, no longer does the cleaning services, used to have coffee , disappointed but would stay again, the price was very good for what we got.

Horrible! Health hazard concern

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Horrible cottage. Full of hair from previous stay between the cover and bed sheets. Also, several bugs under the pillows. We left the property at 1 am with my daughter in Pjs, and while we got refunded by Expedia, we never heard from VStays or the property owner on a possible refund prior to Expedia taking care of that.

Very clean except the floors could have used a good washing (our socks were filthy after walking around for a bit). Other than that, everything was fantastic. Kids loved the hot tub out back, and we spent most days at the H2O waterpark on site (additional charge, we purchased the season pass and went every day).

Great Cottage in a Great Location!

Our whole experience was abosolutly wonderful! We loved the resort and the cottage was beautiful! My only complaints are: 1. not enough towels in the cottage. We called to get more towels and were told we had to wash our towels if we needed more towels. Not nice! 2. No towels at the Pool -- the pool ran out of towels and everyone had to wait several hrs for their vendor to drop off clean towels. 3. The shower door in the master bathroom did not close, so the floor would get soaking wet -- so I had to use the towels on the floor! Thus another reason for more towels needed. But putting the towel issue aside, we had a fabulous time!

Margaritaville Dreamsicle Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family enjoyed our vacation time in the Dreamsicle Drive cottage. We were looking for space, and this cottage delivered. The sound system and hot tub were bonuses! The property was in pristine condition. The resort itself was so massive that we didn't have enough time to take it all in! My family had a wonderful experience and we would definitely return and certainly recommend Margaritaville Cottages.

Nice area with access to resort.

This is a beautiful property in the Margaritaville Resort with access to close shopping, dining and resort amenities. Pros: We loved the shopping and arcade in the Margaritaville shopping center. Ford's garage is also located in this shopping center and they have great burgers and amazing scenery. Target is close by for house supplies. The house itself is very nice and the hot tub was a great feature. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Smart TV's made it easy to access our apps in order to watch our shows without having to travel with our firesticks. Air-conditioner worked amazing. Margarita machine was provided with plenty of glasses which was a nice touch for this cottage at Margaritaville. The resort itself is amazing. It has pools, a bar with food and drinks, cabanas to rent at a reasonable price ($150 for a full day vs Volcano Bay at $851 for a full day) games to play like giant connect four, corn hole, and live music. Cons: No closet in the 1st floor master, just a wardrobe. No extra blankets so we ended up purchasing some at the target close by. The cottage comes with kitchen utensils, pots and pans and small shampoo, conditioner and soap, but we had to purchase a lot of house items such as hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, extra shampoo, body soap conditioner, salt and pepper....etc. Dishwasher didn't work but to be fair I believe it was just brand new and not hooked up. Dining table was beautiful but took up a lot of the kitchen so it was hard to maneuver around. All in all we would stay here again. We love the location and the new feel of the home. It worked out very well for our family of four.
