Getting Around: Orlando is very car friendly. I recommend a car to get around to restaurants, shopping and other activities. Uber/Lyft are available and cheaper than parking fees at theme parks. Other Things to Note: IMPORTANT- THE SMALL PRINT: Unlike a hotel, we do not have full time staff on location. Please note that you are staying in a private unit in a resort. We contract a cleaning company to service our property and supply a limited amount of paper product & consumables (e.g. a few rolls of toilet paper & kitchen towels, small soaps, etc) before your stay. We do not resupply these items during your stay and kindly ask that you supplement paper products & consumables for your needs. There is pharmacy & grocery store in walking distance for resupplies. Daily cleaning is not part of the nightly rate. Additional cleaning services, like a change of linens or towels, are available for a fee. The photos are of the actual unit, however, we change furniture, accessories, art work and small appliances when needed. Some of these items may look different than in the pictures in the listing. Guest must be at least 21 years of age by check in. The small closet in the third bedroom ( with the single beds) has been converted to a service closet and is inaccessible to guests. There are large closets in the other two main bedrooms. Our property features a temperature, humidity, and volume sensor located in the living room. This allows us to monitor the health of the air conditioning unit (temperature and humidity) and to prevent unauthorized parties. The device does not record sound (voice) or pictures. The air conditioning does not have a heater, however, we have extra blankets on demand for the 3 nights of cold weather per year. Please use appliances as they are intended to be used. We are not responsible for the loss of valuables or personal belongings of our guests. We are not responsible for the spoilage of food and beverages. We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. We are not liable for the closure of any amenity or denial of access of our guests. Please note all amenities are managed and operated by the Vista Cay Resort. This includes the pool areas, BBQ areas, gym, play room, and sports courts. The resort management may change the opening hours or close any or all amenities for any reason. I contract a local cleaning company and maintenance person that are available for emergencies. The front door can be opened with a key code - no more keeping track of keys. Condo location is great as it is just around the corner from the pool. Resort location is perfect and only took us about 20 minutes with traffic to get to the Disney parks. And the pool bar was a welcome bonus. Owner communication was wonderful and check-in was a breeze. Great restaurants and stores very close by. We loved everything about this place! The check in was very clear and provided the day before we arrived so we could print it for reference. We love the Vista Cay location as it is walking distance to a grocery store, pharmacy, several restaurants, liquor store, and more. It is a quick Uber/Lyft ride downtown to the Icon Park area (less than $10 during non peak times). We also used Uber/Lyft to get to Universal and to Aquatica/Seaworld. We rented a car this trip but we wouldn’t do that next time because it was close enough that we could have used Uber /Lyft right from the airport and for all of our travels cheaper than the car rental cost and parking fees at the theme parks. The apartment itself was very well stocked with all your kitchen needs, 3 bedrooms with REALLY comfortable beds, and 2 bathrooms with linens. A few of the things that it was stocked with that others might not have include pool towels, a PlayStation and an awesome blender. We had to ask the owners a couple questions and they were super quick to respond. We would definitely rent from them again. ##### Kelly C. We were in Orlando for a cheer completion at the Orange County Convention Centre. This was the perfect location. Several families from our gym booked properties in vista cay which was nice. Some of our group walked to the convention centre. We took an Uber to avoid parking, okay back to the property. Location was awesome. The Walgreens at the corner and close to grocery shopping was convenient. It was very easy to get to highways and attractions. The property looks exactly as shown. It was clean, ample towels (including some for the pool). I appreciated having a couple of laundry tabs there to wash towels after using them at the pool. Beds were very comfortable and the space was great. My family of 4 stayed along with another mother and daughter. It was not too cramped with the 6 of us. Having two bedrooms was great. Deborah and Joe were wonderful to deal with. Very responsive with good communication prior to going. I received check in emails from them during our stay and after check out today. The grounds in vista cay are immaculate. The pool is awesome and very clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! ##### Loran R. The location is great for all of these things. Close to Rosen Aquatic Center and SeaWorld especially. We only had 4 people total but the space is very comfortable for 6 easily. As for the unit, it was nice and mostly stocked. You have all the pots, pans, mixer and utensil but you will need to bring all the little things like spices an condiments if you want to cook meals. There wasn't a lot of dishwashing liquid or dishwasher tabs. Very handy to have washer and dryer but you need to bring soap, they do supply a few pods but they also request that you start a load of towels and dishes before you leave.
