Positives: The host was a great communicator and responsive when I had questions. For example, when we arrived the thermostat was set to 80 and it was warm in the house. I asked them to fix and they did. We also appreciated that we didn’t have to do a bunch of cleaning on our way out as we had an early flight. So many properties require a bunch of cleaning and this host just asked us to turn things off and lock up before leaving. The free pool heat was nice. It made the water bearable enough to swim but wasn’t hot. Things potential renters might like to know: We’ve stayed in a lot of Windsor Palms properties and this one was not very updated. I think the price reflected that so I’m OK with it but just something to know. We were in town for a short weekend and just needed a place to sleep between park days so it worked for our needs. The kitchen was not very well stocked. We had a party of 10 and there were only 9 forks. The property sleeps 12 so I would expect at least enough basic kitchen utensils for group size. The toilet in the master had a black ring at water level. it seemed like a stain but the only thing I can think of that stains black would be mold/mildew and should be addressed. The hot tub was nice for sore muscles after long days on our feet but it took about an hour to heat up. Most nights I didn’t feel like waiting an hour for it to get warm so I just went to bed.
