Secluded and not much around, but has onsite restaurant which was good. Didn't get to use the amenities but they looked great. Good little overnight stay.
Great location! Really close to the park. Staff were helpful with questions about the resort as well as the park. They had great wifi which was super helpful since Verizon has almost no service in the area. We will be coming back for our next visit!
Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort has amazingly friendly staff, delicious food, and tons of activities to keep you busy. Just keep in mind that everything closes down at 10 PM, so it can be tough if you're arriving late. Highly recommended overall!
Covered wagon was larger than expected. Just a short walk to shared showers. Stayed mid week and it was wonderfully quiet. Good location for a one night stay on your road trip. Good food, coffee and kind staff.
The glamping tent I stayed in was perfect! The property was beautiful! The staff was friendly and helpful! 10/10! Most definitely will be visiting again soon!
Awesome place with great facilities. Only downside was the showers were a bit dirty and needed a good scrub. Menu is a bit limited and healthy options a bit limited

The Ponderosa was a great place to stay, very convenient for my hiking trip. It could use some updating and a little more attention to detail on the cleanliness of the bathroom. Great breakfast and dinners for before and after a long day of hiking. But overall a great experience. I love the many options of (rooms).
Very quiet and beautiful setting. Our family liked that there was so much to do right there on the property, it kept the kids busy when we weren't in the park! The family was able to bounce from the mini-golf to the pool to the kayaks all within a short walk. Enjoyed our stay!
Stayed in wagon. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was a distance away . Far walk at night. Stars were beautiful. Rained at night. Cool in wagon. Bathrooms were dirty & In need of a good cleaning. Otherwise restaurant was great , pool & hot tub. Great views & proximity to Zion. Thanks for a cool experience.
The small cabin had two King beds, and twin bunks. Two bathrooms. Kitchen and table that sat 6-8. Living room. Outdoor grill and gas fire pit. I was very pleased with the accommodations.
The staff was great! They were very helpful. We decided to stay an additional night and they made it possible and it was an amazing stay.

Definitely not what I was expecting. Loud nighttime parties, lots of screaming kids running around, and most of the amenities were well worn. This is a resort where parents go to party while kids run amuck despite ‘quiet’ hours. The cabins are in terrible condition, the shower barely worked and about half the lights were burnt out. The good is the staff- very friendly and helpful. It’s unfortunate the property is so run down. The pool, mini golf, fire pits all sounded like fun. We only stayed one night and left asap in the morning.
We had a wonderful stay. I do have to say that we didn’t read the part that said the cabins didn’t have A/C, lol. It was definitely an adjustment and there was a fan, so we took advantage of the pool and cold showers. The best part was not only the pool, but allllll the other things you can do here. My children are bigger, but I would come back again with my grandchildren. You will not get bored here!
This is an amazing resort, with a wide variety of activities available for guests, a great onsite restaurant, and quaint cabins with updated furnishings and appliances. We felt very comfortable. We regret that, due to our crowded schedule, we didn't have the time to avail ourselves of the many activities available, such as miniature golf or jeep tours. One minor criticism: We arrived after dark, and we were given our key and a map to our cabin, which was #3. The property is not very well lit at night, so we spent over 15 minutes driving around trying to find cabin #3. At one point we found a cabin #3, but someone was already in it. When we went back to the registration desk, they explained that there were multiple cabin #3s, which were differentiated by the level of the size and number of beds. The map was not super helpful. We finally found the right cabin, and it was certainly worth the wait!
Absolutely loved the vicinity of the park and our cabin. We came up from the hot Arizona desert to celebrate my daughter’s 17th birthday with her best friend and my sister. The property was absolutely beautiful and the cabin was perfect. It was clean and welcoming. We used the pool and spa and it was relaxing. My sister and the girls did the kayaking on the lagoon, but I was sad that there weren’t any paddle boards. One other thing to point out on the website it lists as an amenity available is mountain bikes when it’s only mountain bike trails offered. The lady I spoke with at the front desk even apologized because it implies they provide bikes for people to use. Other than that we loved the experience and will definitely be back.
