"Had a nice time. Loved staying in the camper. The host was very prompt when communicating. Would definitely stay again."

"Very nice place, will definitely be back."

"Cleanest hotel I’ve ever been in. Hotel breakfast was clean, hot, and so good compared to other hotels. The lady at the front desk (blond hair) was SO NICE!"

"The establishment is very pleasant. My kids and I enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, and the nice big space in the back of the hotel on there patio. They have two BBQ grills picnic tables at least 5 of them, and just a very"

"When first walking into the room the air was stale as the air unit had been kept completely off, but once turned on it wasn’t noticeable anymore. The room was very dated and definitely needed a facelift. However it was kept very clean with comfortable bedding. If I needed to stay overnight in this town again I would choose here."

"Excellent room and very friendly service!"

"Room was dated but clean. Bed was comfortable. We were grateful for the help we received after a botched reservation at another hotel."

"A great place to stay"

"Very clean. Helpful staff. Great hot breakfast. Definitely staying there again if I am in Carbondale."

"We came to visit our son at SIU and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was nice, clean, and very affordable. The breakfast was great, with lots of options. There's a bar right next to the hotel, which was nice, and a couple of restaurants nearby. The area felt safe and had a good amount of activity. Overall, a really good place to stay when visiting SIU!"

"Location is steps away from main drag and SIU campus."

"Great location and wonderful hot breakfast! Room was very nice."

"Everything was very clean, parking was easy and plenty of room for the truck and boat. Check in was very easy and great contact with very quick responses. Definitely recommend to stay here."

"Reasonable price, very clean and friendly staff. Room was pretty quiet and bed comfortable."

"Clean, cozy, getaway, downtown. Would stay again!"

"We enjoyed our visit"

It is also advertised as more upscale than it was. We noticed several areas of the house that looked like the landlord special took place in getting it ready. Some of the doors didn’t close properly or were only on a single set of hinges instead of multiple. The dining chairs too were not in great shape, they had...
