This property has clearly been remodeled recently. The building, lobby, and rooms therefore look very nice. However, there were some problems.
First, the carpet in our room was filthy dirty. Within a few minutes of walking barefoot in the carpet, the soles of our feet were black.
Second, the pool was not heated, making it ice cold, and the hot tub was barely luke warm. They were both unusable.
Finally, this property is not ADA friendly. They do not have a single room with a roll in shower. All the bathrooms are very tight, so there is no space for a wheelchair to turn around in the bathroom and you cannot close the door with a wheelchair in the bathroom. They should NOT claim accessibility when you cannot even use the bathroom properly if in a wheelchair. Would be equally difficult for someone using a walker to navigate the tight bathroom spaces. The staff informed me that ALL of the bathrooms are the same size in all rooms. This is not OK for a hotel that claims to be accessible.
Parking is very limited. As such, the hotel offers free valet overnight but the valet will park non-handicap vehicles in handicap stalls and in the striped wheelchair loading zones between handicap spaces. This prevented me from being able to park my vehicle in the handicap space and have enough room to lower my wheelchair ramp. When I asked the hotel to move the vehicles so we could properly use the handicap spaces, they did not but simply made excuses that their parking lot is too small.
