The counter staff used voice to text translators to translate their Japanese to English. As we arrived directly from the airport, we were too early to check-in, but Tamura-san was very helpful in telling us about their day bath and buffet lunch package for us to spend the time. The onsen was very clean, and the accommodations were comfortable. Higu-san was exceptionally helpful on our last day, as she went the extra mile to help us call a cab to the Kimitsu highway bus station when our taxi apps failed to get us a booking. She helped us load the luggage on the cab, and even sent us off with a snack! For tourists like me who cannot speak Japanese, their support and kindness was immensely invaluable. Thank you Ooeda Onsen Mongatari (Kimitsu no mori) staff!"
