A peaceful and tranquil escape
Daniel was a wonderful host with a peaceful and private setting, and a perfect little escape from the busyness of d2d life. Just as advertised, clean and tidy, exactly as expected. Really enjoyed walking the trail to sit by the river and listen to the water flow and the birds chirp. We were greeted by Daniel shortly after our arrival with a few pleasantries and overview of some house rules, then left to enjoy the space on our own before catching us just before we headed out on check out day. Lovely place, would definitely go back, and highly recommended.

A great getaway
We booked this kinda at the last minute. Located a short drive from Sundre and Snake hill hiking/walking area is really nice to do for the day . The log cabin is so cute and well stocked. We went for some R & R with our dogs and did some short walks around the cabin area played some games . We would put this on our list to return. There is also a main house on the it looks really nice also to rent . The stars were so clear , and nicely disconnected for a few days. I would also love to go out and stay in the summer and see it then too. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I love all the decor. And the doors to the bathroom .

Late fall getaway
This property was all that was advertised. Clean and cozy. Close to Sundre and a quick 20 minute drive for groceries etc. Although the weather didn’t cooperate the cabin was warm and comfortable. In floor heating in the bathroom and throughout the cabin added to the comfort level. Beautiful nature walk around the property and down to the James River. Recommended stay!

Wonderful rustic cabin
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is scenic and very quiet. The cabin was well equipped, cozy, and very clean. Daniel was a very responsive host. At night we could see the stars and milky way like we haven't seen in years. Thanks for hosting us Daniel. We'll be back.
