Lovely little town of 700,000. Close to the old town of Kurashiki. Okayama makes a good hub to visit nearby places too. Hiroshima is 45 minutes away.
While visiting Kita Ward, you might make a stop by sights like Saijoinari Temple and Hokai-in Temple.
If you're spending some time in Naka Ward, Parade Hill Park and Busshin-ji Temple are top sights worth seeing.
While visiting Higashi Ward, you might make a stop by sights like Saidaijikannon-in Temple and Ani Shrine.
If you're spending some time in Minami Ward, Setonaikai National Park and Okayama South Village are top sights worth seeing.

A dynamically modern university, resolutely open to the whole world, occupies a set of campus buildings scattered near Okayama’s downtown.

Okayama is a nice place but doesn’t have as much as the big cities.
A lovely city that's very welcoming to foreigners but not overwhelmed with tourists.
